What is the NZETA?
The NZETA is the New Zealand Electronic Travel Authority. It’s an online system that lets eligible travellers from certain countries apply for a travel authority to visit New Zealand.
You can use the NZETA to apply for a travel authority if you’re:
* a citizen of the United Kingdom, the Republic of Ireland, Denmark, Sweden or Finland; and
* aged 18 years or over; and
* have a passport that’s valid for at least three months beyond your planned date of departure from New Zealand.
If you’re granted a travel authority, it’ll allow you to visit New Zealand as many times as you want over a two-year period. You can stay in New Zealand for up to three months on each visit.
Who is eligible for the NZETA?
